King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is a private research university located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. - All international students from all corners of the world are eligible for this program.
- Only Master’s and Ph.D. degree programs are available there. So, Undergraduate Students and post-doctorate scholars are not eligible for KAUST 2021.
- There’s no age restriction given in official website. But Applicants should be under 40 years at Application time.
- For applying in Masters degree Programs, Applicants must have verified degree transcripts of Bachelor’s level. These documents should be provided in the English language.
- Similarly, all the candidates who are applying for Ph.D. degree Programs must have Master’s degree transcripts at the time of application.
- The most important thing that needs to be noted is that all the degree programs are offered in the English language at King Abdullah University. So they also require English proficiency proof. For this, you must have IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE at application time. GRE is not considered as much compulsory in Saudi Arabia, so you can submit your IELTS or TOEFL scores. But students from English-speaking countries don’t need to have scores.
- 79 marks are compulsory in TOEFL. Similarly, they require 6.0 bands (overall) in IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
- The whole application process is online. But the selected candidates, after shortlisting, need to send hard copies of documents to the foreign office of King Abdullah University. But sending hard copies is compulsory only for selected students.
