Group of Sushmita Ruj have multiple PhD positions in Applied Cryptography, Post Quantum Cryptography and Blockchains. Topics include (but not limited to) Layer-2 scalability and interoperability of blockchains, decentralised storage, verifiable computation, post quantum cryptography for blockchains.
Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline or in their final year of study are welcome to apply. Prospective students should have a strong mathematical inclination and excellent understanding of data structures, discrete mathematics and algorithms. Candidates with demonstrated knowledge of cryptography will be preferred.
The school accepts applications in multiple rounds, but it is good to contact early to avail some of the scholarships.
