Police clearance certificate issued by concerned state or district to provide the clearance of any criminal record of the person. It holds all the criminal activities of the applicant. While applying for a scholarship or study visa, a vital step is to get your police clearance certificate if not provided at the time of application you are required to provide the document to embassy when leaving the country. To get one you have to visit your area police station and apply. Some countries do have separate departments to perform this task. Any blood relative can also provide certificate on behalf on applicant with an authority form.
Process to get Police Clearance Certificate
You need to go to the nearest alkhidmat markaz. This office is situated with every police station in all cities over the Pakistan. Original CNIC, original passport and 2 photocopies of each of both documents are required. There you’ve to get a coupon and wait for your turn. They will confirm your address and the police station that covers your area. Total application fee is 350/- RS, but it differ slightly depending upon your area. Please note that, you can apply from anywhere and any city. This certificate is valid for six (06) months, so try to get it in December so that it may work till your application process. For UAF students, you need to go to alkhidmat markaz, in front of main gate of university. No matter which is your city, just apply and then after three days, collect your certificate from same office.
